Our mission
The Arts Angels at North Shore is a district-wide parent and community organization dedicated to supporting, promoting, and celebrating the Fine & Performing Arts throughout the North Shore School District.
Through volunteer service, family engagement, recognition, community partnerships, and thoughtful fundraising, Arts Angels helps enrich opportunities for students while fostering a vibrant community that values creativity, artistic expression, and arts education.
What We Do
Arts Angels brings families, educators, volunteers, alumni, and community partners together to support the Fine & Performing Arts across the district.
Our work includes:
- Supporting performances, exhibitions, and arts events
- Providing hospitality and volunteer support
- Recognizing students, educators, and volunteers
- Funding scholarships and enrichment opportunities
- Supporting educator requests and arts initiatives
- Building community partnerships
- Helping connect families with opportunities to participate
- Raising funds to strengthen arts education and expand possibilities for students
Our focus is simple: support the people and programs that help creativity thrive.
Meet the Board
Arts Angels is led by a volunteer Executive Board of parents and community members who believe deeply in the value of arts education and in the power of community support.
Our role is to provide thoughtful leadership, strong organization, responsible stewardship, and a welcoming environment for families who want to support the arts.

The Arts Angels at North Shore, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3).

Relationship with the School District
Arts Angels at North Shore is an independent nonprofit organization that works collaboratively with the North Shore Central School District and its Fine & Performing Arts staff. We support and enrich district arts programs while respecting the professional and operational responsibilities of district administrators and educators.
